Pennygate Medical Centre is a GP practice in Hindley, Wigan, caring for patients across the local area.

About the practice

We are a training practice. Foundation doctors work with us as part of their training, always supervised by an experienced GP. You may be asked whether a trainee can sit in on your consultation; you can say no.

Your named GP

Every patient has a named accountable GP. If you are not sure who yours is, ask us. You can ask to be seen by a particular GP, but this may mean waiting longer.

Patient Participation Group

Our PPG meets to look at how the practice is run and what patients need. If you would like to join, tell reception or send us a request online.

Complaints and feedback

If something has gone wrong, tell us. Most problems are sorted out quickly. You can complain in person, by phone, in writing, or through an online request. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and reply within 30 working days.

Accessibility

This website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. If you find something you cannot use, tell us and we will fix it or give you the information another way.

We are the data controller for your health record. Our privacy notice explains what we hold, why, and your rights. This website does not collect personal information and does not use cookies.
